Bormio is a charming town with a thousand-year history, nestled among the stunning mountains of northern Italy and renowned for its thermal baths. Thanks to its unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage, it has become a favorite destination for visitors in both summer and winter. Over the past 40 years, Bormio and its valleys have hosted more than 100 World Cup races across all disciplines, as well as two Alpine Skiing World Championships (1985 and 2005). In early 2026, Bormio's legendary Stelvio slope hosted all the men's alpine skiing events and medal ceremonies of the Winter Olympic Games, and marked the Olympic debut of ski mountaineering.

The congress sessions will take place in the auditorium of the Istituto Alberti, a modern amphitheater with 250 seats and full technical services. The Institute also offers classrooms for parallel sessions, seminars, poster exhibitions, and multimedia displays, ensuring excellent facilities for all activities.
