Guidelines for abstract submission - Oral or poster presentation

All abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee. The accepted abstracts will be selected for either oral or poster presentations, and they will be published in the Congress Proceedings. The official language of the Congress is English.

Abstracts are restricted to a one A4 document (Arial, font size 12, margins according to model abstract) including possible tables and/or graphs. Click here to see the model abstract.

Send the abstract as a word document by e-mail (icss2026.bormio@iisalbertibormio.it) by June 1th, 2026. Please indicate whether you would prefer an oral or a poster presentation and in which of these main areas your topic belongs: 1) Alpine skiing, 2) Nordic skiing, 3) Snowboarding, 4) Ski mountaneering, 5) General. Then choose one of the subareas listed below;

Confirmation of an abstract acceptance and if it is selected as an oral or as a poster presentation will be informed by e-mail by October 1th, 2026.
